870 Camo Replacement Stock
I wanted to replace my factory original wooden stock that always seems to get wet and heavy by the end of a long hunt. I knew I wanted a synthetic stock and any other positive features would be a bonus. This ShurShot stock and forearm also offered me the Mossy Oak Obsession camo pattern and thumbhole stock grip feature. The benefit of the camo is at the hunter's discretion if it is actually a bonus. The thumb hole in the stock creates a more natural grip angle for your trigger hand and makes that initial first shot at your quarry, at least I believe, quicker and more accurate. It helps me get my sights on the target a fraction of a second quicker and the thumb hole helps me steady the rear sight and align my thumb and forefinger in a more muscle memory like position like when I'm shooting my favorite handguns. The stock and fore-end were also very reasonably priced and easy to install yourself, even if you're not too mechanically inclined like I am.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fit and feel
Looks good from a distance. Sharp edges, raised mold marks are unsightly and feel cheap. Filed the worst ones off for a smoother feel and fit and it left it white plastic showing underneath. Not for ventilated Rib
The product is great when use with the proper Sights! I use a bead on my ventilated rib and it doesn't work! The stock where your cheek sit's is to high, so you can't get down on the bead. If used with any elevated sight's it will work great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
