I bought this dvd to watch with my husband. We both have really enjoyed watching this film and it's a great film for every one. It has got a great sense of humour and I am sure you will enjoy watching it! The caracters are playing their rolls excellent and they really have picked the right people to do the movie. Compared to others this is a 'must watch' film!

This is much better that the boring 'Meet the Parents'. They say that sequels are never better than the first one but i assure you this is much better and enjoyable. In this one where greg focker and his missus and inlaws all go in this 'High Tech' Campervan to meet 'the Fockers'. If you have seen 'Date Movie', then there is some similarity to where they got most of their stuff from 'Meet the Fockers' To be honest, this is a film of which you will hate or like. I like it but to be honest, this is more of a 'Chick Flick', down there with American Pie and the likes.
In my eyes, Ben Stiller can do no wrong - whilst I wasn't that keen on Zoolander (see my review) it still outshines most modern comedies today. Meet the Fockers is another gem from the guys who brought you Meet the Parents (and yes Owen Wilson does cameo - yey!). Once again, Stiller and DeNiro are superb, and whilst in the first film, the female relations essentially propped up scenes, this time we get Barabara Streisand who is superb. I've not seen her in any other films, but my parents think she's great, and I really agree. She definitely has a penchant for comedy and her on screen rapport with Hoffman is superb. Hoffman himself is also a class act and sooooo funny from the minute you see him (doing some sort of Tai Chi in the garden) to the very end. Where this film suffers, is that it has taken the same approach as the first, and it feels a little repetitive for this. New characters can only be relied upon to keep the film going for so long, then you need actual storyline. I still loved it anyway, but its at least a star less than Meet the Parents for the lack of originality (can you have an original sequel?). Very much look forward to Meet the Parents 3 - apparently entitled Meet the Little Focker (please please please don't let it be a remake of Three Men and a Baby).Read full review
Another hilarious installment of the Fockers - this time with the Burns parents travelling to Florida to meet the parents of Greg (Gaylord). The Focker parents are brilliantly acted by Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand, two liberal flowers characters who dote on their poor son and have no qualms with revealing the most intimate details of their and his life, much to the dismay of Greg and his wife. The screenplay is skillfully written, drawing on many of the quirks of the original film (Mr. Jinks, Circle of Trust, Puff the Magic Dragon etc etc), yet retains enough originality and wit to stand on its own as an excellent comedy, even if you havent seen the original. Definitely worth a watch!
Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does great justice..rocommended dvd to have in your selection but all depends on your own personal views! great dvd and i will purchase more from ebay.
