I bought this for a two year old but both he and his 4 year old brother absolutely loved it. There is so much to do with the ship. We didn't even put batteries in (to go easy on the parents) and they couldn't stop playing with it. It's easy to put together, opens out into a play area and has a little plank that baddies can walk.
