It top quality product, because i have the other series of them,i want all of them and it was a very good price
As a parent of a 14 year old boy, I find the humor both fresh and REAL. The dialogues are conversations that I would like to have, or have had with my son, regarding sex, dating, living with others, respect, morals. My son and I often talk and share our life experiences after watching one of "Two and a Half Men" episodes. The characters are not unlike people we have met along the way, although I don't have a neighbor that climbs over my balcony and comes in uninvited ! :-) But my brother and I don't have alot in common...my mother could be just as harsh as the mother on the show...we can easily identify with the show's main characters, as well as those that are only in one episode. I also bought the DVD because I live in France and like to purchase English-speaking tv series where I can control the content of what my son watches.Read full review
I have become addicted to two and half men, so it is a little difficult to be objective in this review. The humour is so wide spread when it comes to being basic in parts and complex adult humour in other areas that it should appeal to anyone. It can be a little silly at times and I find it hard to believe that anyone can relate to the relationships involved in the series, exactly as they are portrayed, but most people will be able to see a bit of themselves or their personal circumstances in the characters. I think what makes this so enjoyable is the fact that we all deep down want a bit of life inside that Malibu beach-side house, and in some respects it lets you drift off into a little dream world whilst watching. I personally find that regardless of whatever else is going on in my life, it always makes me feel better. It is hard to give a review of season two accurately without putting in spoilers for those who haven't seen it. Out of all the seasons it is not the best one in my opinion, but it is still superb. All the characters have really developed now and Jake in particular has become a much more integral part of the comedy compared to season one. Overall, I cannot recommend the series enough. I do not watch much tv, but this has absolutely captivated me.Read full review
