I like the back of the putter it helps with taking the putter to the inside by visual look of putter. It looks heavy but it is not.Takes some getting used to as when you first hit it everything seems to miss right and i am right handed.I bought this putter to give it a try as i got a pretty good deal on ebay. The thing a dislike is the odd shape makes it hard to move the balls around while practicing, for instance when you have five or six balls your normal putter makes it real easy to slide the next ball into position this thing makes this easy chore difficult. Amazing what small things irritate us.
Have had the putter for about a month now and it has been an instant success. The small bar on the back makes it extremely easy to line up. Being a Scotty the feel is naturally amazing. I play in our men's league skin game every weekend and this thing has already paid for itself. I owned one before and should have never let it get away. Be assured this one has a permanent home in my bag.

I handle about 200 different putters a year and have a pretty good idea about the feel and performance. This putter is rather unique. Its very light weight which allows for a speedy head. I ran a pre-golf tournament putting contest last week and found so many variety of putting stances all one large green, I was truly surprised of the different styles and strokes that people use on the green. Putters are personal, its all on how it feels. Its hard to feel something while it's selling online, but if you check out your local golf shop, you can still shop around online. This putter would not be for everyone, but those who like a fast head, this is the one to get. I still rate it very high as the Scotty Cameron putters are very much in demand and will be a great return on your investment.
I bought this putter because I really liked the design of the stip of metal running back in line with the sweet spot. I always had difficulty in getting over a putt, and seeing my line. Now, once I see my line from behind the ball, it is much easier set the putter and see that the stip of metal is correctly aimed on line. Now all I have to do is stroke the ball down the line of the putter. I am making a much large percentage of putts inside 15 feet. What I did not expect is the incredible sweet feel of the Scotty Cameron putter face. My touch with putts is amplified about 300% from the Oddessy putter I have been using for 5 years. My distance control has never been this good. I seldom ever blow past the hole, and I leave gimmies 80% of the time.
This club is perfect for those of you out there trying to learn the open close open putting stroke. The rear weight is subtlely curved to enhance the swinging door style stroke. This club is weighted well, and as with ALL scotty camerons the feel is crisp, smooth, and solid. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who is currently using a center shafted, or mallet putter, and wants to get back towards something more traditional.
immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
I had not been as sharp with the putter the last year so I thought a change may do me some good. Bought this putter thinking I needed a change from the traditional pendulum motion and would try the arc method. Went to Myrtle Beach for 7 days. Practiced with this thing and played 3 rounds with it. This is absolutely the worst putter I have ever had in my bag. No feel and instead of making the curved alignment aid work for me it would make even a 3 foot putt a challenge. Will put back on ebay at a loss. Good riddance!
Sometimes people have a perception of what something should be but dont see what it is. Enough philosophy. The most valuable Camerons are usually traditional designs with all the added great stuff Scotty is famous for but if a guy was looking for a mallet style putter, The Detour is a sleeper, great putter with huge technology, like it much more then a double ball and MADE IN THE USA.
This putter was described exactly to the most minute detail. It was exactly what I was looking for and also in my price range. I couldn"t be more pleased. The equipment is great, hope I can learn how to put with it.
Call it magic or good luck on purchasing this putter. It has work wonders for my game amd taken me from a just average putter a much stronger, assured putter. One who actually makes puts. I bought it on a whim and I am glad I did. Good price too.
