Worth the extra for reliability
I have tried using cheaper calculators, but I find the Casios to be the only ones that just work accurately in any conditions down to very low light. Solidly built, responsive and predictable buttons. If you need to use calculators a lot, or for your business, then these are worth the considerably higher price. Unlike cheap ones, in very low light they just stop displaying; the others in moderately low light conditions begin to throw up random incorrect calculations.

ok, but nowhere near as good as casio mx8
wanted a calculator for a small shop where we dont have an electronic till, so quicl sums are required etc....so we need fast button response... after having used thw casio mx8 for a no pf years and it was absolutely brilliant, we went for the casio mx8 b cos couldnt find exsct model, looks similar etc but once we got it it was very flimsy, u cant go nowhere near as quick as our old casio etc so we were bitterly disappointed. but its good value and does the job but bot wen u need t add bills up in a hurry etc

I bought 2 at the same time as I really like these calculators. They are second to none in my opinion for a simple to use, reliable, calculator. Would never buy a different make/model if I can get one of these. Excellent value too.

It really is perfect !
Right, it's stable on the desk, the display is large and simple, the keys are responsive and there is no annoying "double zero button". It's well made and by far the most reliable calculator I've ever owned ! Love it !

I do not normally bother to review purchases, but this is exceptional so here goes Bought this to replace a well worn earlier version by Casio What a difference from the earlier model WOW this has much LARGER display, even I can see it The on button is orange coloured at the bottom left, easy to identify and reach Nice clean white case, which makes the numeric buttons (grey) stand out and looks smart on my desk battery and solar powered Easy to see display and butons, a perfect purchase, highly recommended i wish I had upgraded much earlier
