Bought for a 3.5 ton 9 foot high Mercedes Sprinter yet these items while having correct anchorage dimensions are thin, light and flimsy and look more suited to the likes of a Smart car (perhaps they are interchangeable!). Much more worrying is the soft action and especially the brief lack of any damping when moving between compression and extension (lag) which would be very evident magnified by leverage on a 9 foot high van. My (independent) mechanic rightly refused to fit them on safety grounds. It’s one thing swaying around uncomfortably, but I dread to imaging what would happen in an emergency situation when you would need to swerve at speed! Tall vans are bad enough in this situation with correctly designed chassis equipment, flimsy, thin soft shocks could be lethal.
