This vacuum was reconditioned but was as new, with a full compliment of attachments including the original bag to hold the attachments. It is cordless so no need of plug sockets and clumsy cable inhibiting operation. The flexible 'stick' allows cleaning under furniture and after being used twice for four rooms, the battery still has plenty of charge. The dust container is easy to remove and clean. It glides easily although it is top heavy mainly due to the battery pack. I have not yet used the hand held vacuum but am very pleased that this product is so versatile.

Since buying this, I’ve struggled with it turning off randomly even when it’s fully charged, it will stay on 10/20 seconds then turn off and won’t turn on again til 5 seconds later. It can be quite frustrating. I don’t know what’s causing the issue, I always make sure it’s charged before I used it. The battery doesn’t last that long anyway. Also it struggled to suction bigger particles, seems ok with dust but doesn’t do much about hair/dirt. I like that it’s cordless and pretty lightweight and easy to use but definitely needs improvement in a few areas.

Good vac, but don’t expect it to be your only vac, unless where you live is very small, or you don’t have any carpets/rugs. Main plus point is that it’s cordless but by definition all battery life is problematic, the more you use it, the less time it lasts! Other plus points: lightweight (important when it won’t stand up on its own); easy to take apart and clean; without the long tube its good for stairs, difficult corners and dusting surfaces other than floors; it’s got harder to find vacs with a beater in the head, which is pretty much essential to clean carpet, so to find one in a cordless, for the stair carpet is a real bonus. Minus side is that it’s quite small, so it takes more pushing movements to go over the floor than a bigger head would. The dust compartment fills up very quickly too and, at least in our house (!) needs 2 or 3 empties per room. But it’s a trade-off with cordless, if it were bigger it would need a bigger battery and be heavier and dearer. Overall, as my second vac, I’m very pleased with it. I use my upright (cordless) Vax Air to do the main part of each room, and keep this for the things the upright doesn’t do so well, high level, stairs, corners where the upright won’t fit, dusting, hard floors.Read full review

When we received our new Blade Vax it was put on charge over night, when we used this portable cordless Vax it out performed our corded vacuum cleaner. The included motorised floor / carpet attachment felt like it was pulling you along getting you in all the hard to reach places. The vacuum seems large and cumbersome but is the opposite a well balanced performance cordless vacuum cleaner with plenty of charge to clean the average 3 Bed house. Emptying the Vax Blade is easy to do with washable filters protecting the motor. Highly recommend this product as a low cost easy to use and effective product.

I love this vacuum cleaner, great suction, lifts the carpets when you go over them, good battery life. I've vacuumed every day since I've had it as I have porcelain tiles in the kitchen that show everything, Stairs we're a dream to do. I had tried a friend's Dyson which was also good but for the price I reckon this is just as good . Definitely recommend
