Overcoming life's exigencies
What well crafted plots esp, intertwining hard-to-get over past, made-up meanings. Amidst the challenges of several characters, there are many very happy and moving sections and lines. Romance drama with empty plot, characters and delivery
This movie, like many chick flicks, was entirely predictable. I am saying this as a lover of chick flicks so I have no preconceived desire for this type of movie being a failure. Being predictable is not its flaw. I can overlook predictability were the characters were not flat instead of being well grown into their roles. The little girl was cute and played her part well but again there was a disconnect with almost all the characters and the delilvery of the lines was rote, not real.
