SynopsisAn authorized biography of the legendary marshal describes the Old West exploits and law enforcement career of Wyatt Earp, his brothers Morgan and Virgil, and Doc Holliday., Tie into two Wyatt Earp movies--Tombstone, starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer, and Wyatt Earp, starring Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid--with the definitive account of this American legend. • Wyatt Earp: Frontier Marshal

I finally finished reading this book about the life and times of Wyatt Earp. It is supposedly the definitive read about Wyatt Earp. This is the book from which the movie ¨Tombstone¨ was based. It is a very good read and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about the life and times of Wyatt Earp. I was hired as an actor to portray Wyatt Earp and I needed something definitive on which to base my character. I and my wife wrote a 5 page script based on this book which I memorized to portray Wyatt Earp correctly.

  • Seminal source

This is the primary biography/autobiography for Earp. If you read anything on the subject, this should be first.
