    X-10 is home automation for the masses

    I have had X-10 devices since about1990 with very few problems. Being crippled, the X-10 system has been a great blessing. I have a home assistant now, but I'm staying with X-10 for control of my lights. The only exceptions are that I control a couple color-changing lamps and a few lamps for security using the home assistant. I have no need to consolidate control of locks, thermostats, cameras, entertainment centers, etc..
