Awesome especially for the price
This exhaust is awesome. I have a 2000 NB1 and the fitment was perfect. The included gasket was a nice addition. My flange bolted on perfectly (I read another review stating that his NB1 didn't work, well, idk what's up with his but mine was perfect.) My only 2 complaints is that it is really BIG, bigger than I thought. Gives people the ricer boy look at first glance. And the second complaint is the silencer. That thing is in there too tight. I had to use a slide hammer and beat it out little by little. But the silencer really does quieten it down. So it's nice to have around. Without it, it's crazy loud. Sounds deep, I have a little bit of rasp. Especially on cold starts but nothing crazy. The fitment, finish, and overall quality of the muffler is amazing. Especially for the price. I'd highly recommend this muffler if you want a nice, direct bolt on axle back. Oh, yea, and speaking of BIG... sometimes it drags against the road on certain angles with lowered cars.

Not exactly what I was looking for.
The exhaust looks great, its bigger than most but I'm okay with that. But the drone is definitely a killer. From 3-4k rpms it's crazy drone, and I'm a guy who likes loud exhaust, but this is just crazy. The silencer is wedged in there way too tight and when I got it out the drone made me wedge it back in. Also the hardware included didn't even fit, only thing that was useful was the gasket. This exhaust would be great if the drone wasn't so bad. So I'm removing this exhaust and getting something better.

Solid exhaust
Welds r machine done but look decent. Gasket provided is 4/10. have fun using the bolts too. Miata exhaust studs tend to be very seized from stock. A little rasp, not much different with or without silencer. Certainly louder than Miata without exhaust. fitment was fine, however the exhaust makes contact with the rear tow hook, good exhaust for the money, it’s what u expect for the cheapest exhaust on ebay

Manzo, light on your car, light on your wallet
This is a great value. It bolted up to my NB2 perfectly (I did replace one of the hangers with a longer one to better center the exhaust in the bumper cut out), AND is 12 lbs lighter than the OEM. It's a bit boomy without the silencer but the back pressure seems to be less. I like the sound and it's great at wide open throttle. I swear throttle response is better during rev matching on down shift.

Great exhaust for the money!
I like this exhaust more than I thought I would. The quality and fitment is really good, much better than I expected. The sound is also very pleasing with the silencer in. Without the silencer your ears will hate you for sure though with the crazy drone. You can still have a conversation with a passenger at city speeds with the silencer in though. The welds are also very nice, the gasket was good, all the hangers got used, and the tip is placed nicely in the bumper cutout. I was scared of getting this exhaust at first because I thought the tip would be extremely ugly, but after installing it I’m actually quite happy with it! And I’m a person who hates fartcans but this is not that. 10/10 for me. I have a sound clip on my yt channel FDB7.

Lightweight, Good Welds, Easy Installation, & Amazing Sound!
If you are deciding to buy this exhaust or not, I say do it. This is one of the cheapest axel-back exhausts, and for $239.00, it is great value. The welding on it is done super well and everything fits really well into the car. Installation process was flawless (other than getting the old exhaust out of the rubber holders) but putting the new exhaust in was really easy. Right when I turned it on, the sound was amazing right away. I took the silencer out, and the sound I was getting was very deep and not annoyingly loud. It sounds really good for such a cheap exhaust. I'd recommend you buy this if you're thinking about it.

I love the way it sounds with no silencer I have no rasp when it’s hot but cold start and drive it’s raspy but I don’t drive it cold anyways but yeah, it says stainless steel but I’ve washed it once and allready have tiny surface rust spots witch I don’t understand Definatley a nice exhaust tho I’m very pleasedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

DO NOT BUY, it has a ricey sound, and only sounds good when cruising in high gear, looks good but not the sound. And you have to take the tow hitch bar off the car to be able to have enough clearance to be able to put the exhaust on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value & great quality.
It is an amazing value. Good quality at a good price. Without the silencer, it is quite loud, but still with a good tone. It has lots of low overtones with just enough high overtones to add character. The tone is not raspy or blatty under throttle. My life is complete
My friend recommended this exhaust after the support brackets on my old decrepid one broke. Only took a couple days to get shipped, quality bubble wrap and cardboard inserts protected the perilous journey. Joy, pure joy when UPS arrived with this perfectly welded shiny masterpiece. Once ehaust hangars were installed the glistening bolts were torqued to spec.
