Are these phones good value? Who knows. What would constitute good value in a piece of equipment which is basically a sophisticated micro computer? Thirty years ago the computers we had could do nothing in comparison, so yes, maybe it is good value. I certainly think Samsung phones are far preferable to any of the other Android phones - two years ago I bought one of the Chinese offerings and sstruggled with it for a couple of months. Then, fortunately, someone stole it, and I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+ as a replacement. Suddenly, all the things I had struggled with on the Chinese phone, were easy. As for the S20 plus. It's a beautiful piece of kit (I hated all the Samsung screens, but managed to install a completely black screen), the camera is lovely, the options on ring tones are good, and it does what I want it to do. It charges fast, and I was able to update everything from my old phone with the Samsung app. So, I'm happy, although it seems to be downloading software after software update right now. The phone is a proper piece of kit with an amazing camera and is packed full of features. It's a pretty big phone and is quite weighty in the hand, so whilst this might not be good for some, it's perfect for me. The large screen is super clear and the sound quality is top notch. This is a top of the line premium phone with too many features to mention.

Pros: Cool phone, fast and quite responsive. Cons: * Battery is not as great as advertised - obviously depends on usage, but mine is almost flat by the end of the day and barely different to my S8+. * Phone also randomly restarts. Done so at least twice this week which is worrying for a phone about a month old.

I bought this product with mixed feelings about the price(being so cheap) and hadn't bought a refurb before. It was an B+ upgrade which meant no damage to the screen. When it arrived, naturally I checked for damage to the screen, but I didn't find any, nor could i find any damage to the entire phone. Not even the smallest of scratches! To say I am pleased is an understatement. I saved £400 on the phone compared to new and the only downside is the lesser warranty. Other than that I couldn't recommend it enough.

The battery life alone is enough for me to realize it's put my previous Sony to shame. Main reason I got rid. The changeover went smooth too. Downloaded Smart Switch to my old phone and the transfer over was quick and painless. I liked that.Camera is much better too. At the moment I have no complaints. Oh yeah, speed from off to operational is very quick. I'm not used to that. Nice one. So is the phone. Nice one.
