There is no doubt it will lift heavy stains but it is what i would describe as gloop consistency and difficult to get out of the plastic bottle. My sister uses a spray glass cleaner especially for stoves but i wont say the brand name as im not here to slate this product and it is every bit as hood and much more user friendly so i will be buying that brand the next time. creates a nice natural look
I went for the slate dressing oil because i didn't want a shiny looking surface that sealer creates. Even though it would of been a permanent solution and easier to clean if ash fell on it the slate oil gave a more natural look. It requires at least 2 coverings but after that it keeps its natural dark slate colour. depending on how warm the room gets you will see a slight change in that the oil drys a bit. Good cleaner but over priced.
This glass cleaner does the job but is expensive for what it is. I assume we are paying over the top because it's Stovax branded. I have since found that cleaning the glass with a wet cloth was just as good and leaving any residue soot to be burned off during operation. However, my stove is fairly new and wall mounted so it may not work on older stand alone stoves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Treatment of a slate house name & number.
Mind you, it could be argued that this is too early to make such a judgement. The product was easy to apply ( by following the instructions), and looked a big improvement afterwards. Does what is says on the tin - great results!

Best cleaner that I've found so far.
Follow the instructions & this cleaner removes smoke & burn stains from clear glass. Certainly the best product that I have found to date. A little cleaner gel on a cloth is all that is required to create a film of cleaner on the glass.
