Smells like summertime...
I'm elated I found this original version of Estee Lauder's Azuree in the Pure Fragrance Spray. It's jumped drastically in price since I last had it (likely more than a decade ago), but this is exactly what I remember from back then. Very pleased
Someone stole my 100 year old mother’s bottle of Ester Lauder perfume so I bought this one as a replacement. She was very pleased when she opened the carefully packaged item. She said it smelled the same as the other one, the way it should. The color of the liquid was correct as if it had been kept from heat and sunlight. A very unique perfume
Azuree is probably not for everyone & is probably a perfume for a mature nose, but I love it, the marigold gives the whole floral citrus scent a certain "dirtiness" like walking down an Italian country lane early in the morning while the dew is on the flowers giving it a bit of a rot smell & the slight dirtiness of marigolds but this is an expensive smelling rot & dirtiness, very uniqueVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Original Formula
Have used Azuree for 40+years, always getting compliments. It's light and I'm not bothered by smelling myself (if I can smell a perfume on me, it's not right for my chemistry). Estee Lauder has changed their "recipe" and the new version, while nice, doesn't measure up to the original one. Doesn't seem to last as long as this one and I don't receive the compliments I do when wearing the original one.
