The Eltax Monitor III are Main / Stereo Speakers with a frequency response of 50 Hz - 22 kHz and 150 Watt peak power handling. It features a 25 millimeters soft dome tweeter partnered with a 130 millimeters mid bass driver. The input board of the active speaker features one optical, one coaxial and two analogue (one RCA, one 3.5mm) inputs and a Bluetooth module. Featuring an impedance level of 4 ohm and 89 dB sensitivity, the speakers produce clear sound. As well as volume and input selection, the remote also, allows for bass and treble adjustment on the fly and when connected over Bluetooth, there is the option to skip tracks and pause them too.Product Identifiers

These speakers are incredible!!
My friend purchased a pair of these and said they are as good as the hype suggests, this made me buy a set and for their size they are unbelievable, the highs are crisp and clear and the bass is very potent, I would certainly recommend the eltax monitor III's to anyone who is tight on space but unwilling to compromise on sound quality these are the answer, you can pick these up on Ebay for a song if your patient mine were 30 quid !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent with a few guidelines to keep to...
Reading so many iterations of rejoice over them, I eventually could lay my hands on a perfect pair both aesthetically and sonically. Mind you, i am done with my audiophile period; I like what i like. They sounded a let-down for the first few attempts to make friends with them. I leave out the unnecessary details: in the end i recovered the strenghts: IMO they are not the best for pop or for EMD even less - for rock music, for wich i was chasing proper speakers, they excell. In order to reach that stage, you shall need to stuff in the ports the denser stuff you use the better you get. This will clear up bass as well as the mids and you end up middle-paced, very hard pounding bass, good enough mids and as much sparkling in the highs that counterbalances to some degree the closed sound signiture which on the other hand imposingly powerful. But you need even more to get there. Standmounts will not help much - i raised them as high as 5 feet high in large room and they sounded awfully closed, muffled, disappointing in every way. Keep them on the floor and put a granite slate under them, of course supposing they stand on their spikes. Place them at least one foot from the wall and that's it. Simply brilliant
The build quality is excellent, the sound quality is just out of this world brilliant. Don't pay out for the new versions find a decent secondhand pair on here, I paid £30 for mine, the four binding post, down firing bass port versions and for this price they'll easily match any comparable bookshelf speakers I reckon upto £300 new!

Because these are small I expected to lose all my bass response but because of the hidden wooffer on the bottom of these I lost virtually none. High quality space efficient speakers
