Constant disconnects, Hissing background noise and Poor Battery life
My worse purchase in recent memory. Thought I'd take a chance since it was cheaper than other Bluetooth adapters and it claimed a long battery life. What a mistake. The constant connectivity issues are such a pain, it simply will not connect to many devices even when fully charged no matter how many times you try to pair it and even when find a device it connects to it will disconnect randomly as its gone off. You will then have to turn off and on again to reconnect each time, it’s so frustrating. It's also plagued with the issue of constant hissing noise always present in the background and it gets worse as you increase volume, anything above half volume makes it hard to listen to for very long without hurting your ears. It also has a big latency issue, so if you try to watch any videos or shows even on your phone, it will make viewing very distracting when the sound of someone speaking comes much later than the picture. Also as with many cheaply-made Chinese products, the battery life is nowhere near what is claimed and I found instead of the many hours claimed I struggled to get more than 2 hours on a charge even at medium volume.
Instead of the Elegiant, I would highly recommend the Mpow Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter & Receiver. It is only a few pounds more but sellers will take offers and it is a superior product in every regard. The Mpow has crystal clear sound, no connectivity issues and will connect to any Bluetooth device first time, every time. In fact the connection is so strong you can still be connected and listen easily while in a different room. The audio latency is effectively ZERO as it has Aptx Low latency which means it’s perfect for watching videos and Movies/Shows on TV, laptop or Phone as sound is always in sync with video. Battery life is much longer with about 4-5 hours on a charge. Also unlike the Elegiant, the Mpow has built-in volume controls, play/pause button and skip tracks function all on the device so you don’t need get the phone out of the pocket or look for the remote. I use Mpow Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter & Receiver everyday as shown in the photos and it is everything I was looking for in a Bluetooth adapter
