Good, clean, straightforward fun. Makes a pleasat change!
It's genuine entertainment with no pretensions, no covert or not so covert political message and no smutty language or innuendo. Most of the actors get into their roles, simple typecasts, and attract our sympathy. One or two of the stories a bit dodgy, (oh Agatha - written to deadlines?) but the majority just good fun. Very dated
