One of the best philosophy intros
This is one of the best beginner's introduction to philosophy. Brian Magee is a very clear and accessible writer. It is historically, rather than topic-based - and all the better for that since it tells us why the great thinkers of history were so bothered about philosophical problems in the first place. It is worth buying even if you only read the sections about Descartes, Hume, Locke, Berkeley and Kant. But do read the rest.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
