The secular furniture of ew Godwin
A large and largely disappointing book ,very little new information on his furniture. Seems to have been done as a collation of other authors books at a computer without ever going outside to see any furniture. Catalogue Raisonne full of " probably " and "attributed " and not by the author so cannot be relied upon ,no drawings to back the assumptions made . Also seems to accept some attributions and not others but no logical reason why . There are better books out there by Aslin and others which have of course been hi-jacked for this publication in short unreliable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
