People need to know how to handle technology correctly.
Well, it works as described, it is reading as 249GB..... Considering the price this is still good. It works, no problems from the get go. Formatted as exfat - default allocation. Write speeds are maxing out at 10.1MB/s, read speeds are 20MB/s. So, for the price this is decent. Will be enjoying my item, learn to handle these things people.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don’t touch these
Ordered this and missed the bit at the end of the listing about formatting the card to show it’s true size it is being sold as a 256gb card not it might be or it could be tried a quick format and it showed as 249 gb I thought great I tried writing 1000 x 6gb files to it after 600 it crashed and said the destination was corrupt tried a full format and the result was the same !!!!!! rubbish complete rubbish !!!!!!! Waste of money.
I tried to make backup to this 256 gb memorychip several times, noticed it was formatted as fat 32, reformatted to exfat, tried again to make backup, checked the chip with chkdsk, tried to play music with winamp, opening archives with winrar, only got errors. Reformatting to NTFS, making new backups, recopying files to the chip, ie mp3 & a few archives, still got errors, mp3's cant play, tried chkdsk again still got errors. Reformating with slow format, again copied some mp3's and archives, chkdsk again, tried to play mp3's & opening archives got errors.. Ofcourse my mp3's plays well on my regular media, and archives opens as they should.. Anyways the postage back to the retailers costs just about the same as the chips so for me its a waste returning, what can I do? Btw i I bought 2 of these, same deal for both. unplayable mp3's & faulty zip & rar archives after i copied files to them. For me this was 300 NOK (100 nok for each plus 100 nok for postage)... waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Please, avoid.
I did format the card as recommended before I decided to move my files over. Pros: Fast delivery Good value Fast card Good if you want to upload individual videos/small files Cons: If you upload a folder, it will corrupt it immediately. You physically can't upload a file over 1gb as it will corrupt. You can't create folders - they will corrupt. I haven't attempted putting pictures on it as I'm pretty sure they will corrupt. Honestly, it's an awful card which I bought to put some videos on my tablet - which I am unable to do. Thank goodness I only 'copied' my videos over to it, so all of my stuff is still saved onto my computer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fake memory cards, don't buy
I bought 4 cards, had each tested. Apparently it is very common for cheap low-capacity memory cards to be "faked", "spoofed" to look like they are high capacity, these are those. If you bought these, test ASAP or they will fail once you save a certain volume of files to it .e.g. you've saved 8GB. disappointing product
this is a terrible product and a total waste of money... It losses data always format both NTFS and FAt32 but still loosing data.. packaging is horrible just delivered in an envelope with the sdk cello-taped to a paper wish I never bodered... never again buy cheap products... not worth the priceVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of Money
Bought this to save music files for playing in the car. Even after formatting was not able to load more than approx 10Gb and will not play music in car. "Format is not supported " is the message I get from the car. Disappointing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
