Anti Semitic Endurance
This is a sad tragic true story of Austrian jewish families who were annihilated in the death camps at Auscwitz Berkinau because of their faith. They were humiliated and debased but although anorexic, continued to do all they could just to survive the horrors. It should be on the curriculum for all comprehensive schools so they could understand what true hatred does to a humble faith. I have read this book through twice as it is a good read and makes you understand what exactly what went on. Some people want to forget those ugly scenes but it is a written account of the true horrors of human conflict at its worst. It is written by a son of a rabbi and what each of their family and including the extended family went through and at the end of the war, exchanging stories of their own. Sometimes, it makes you really angry and other times, makes you weep. There are quite a few emotional scenes that questions how anybody could have survived such horrors and being so emaciated through neglect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
