discpainter
I like the discpainter but since they have discontinued making it there set up is difficult on newer windows. I also found that it takes quite a bit of ink and runs slowly. So you can take a few hours to do multiple copies. But I like the quality of the print out. Orphan Device - can't setup, Ink cartridges are no longer made for this,
This printer cannot be setup with 64 bit Windows as the setup program only works on a 32 bit system. Windows 64 bit can run 32 bit programs but The setup program refuses to install it on my 64 bit machine. Dymo no longer supplies any tech support for this product and stopped making replacement ink cartridges for it. I read online that a certain Lexmark cartridge would work with a tab cut off but haven't confirmed that it does. I can't comment on the print quality as I have yet to print any disks. I wish that I had not purchased it. I have offered it for sale for less than I paid but after 2 listings, I haven't received a single bid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Design is unique, ink catridges appear to have a second generic source, and may be refillable
It was sold by Dymo. But the underlying technology appears to have been the Primera Bravo SE line of CD/DVD Duplicator robots. The Ink cartridges for the first Gen of the Primera used specially tagged LexMark Ink Cartridges and when LexMark exited the Inkjet business in 2012 those lost their primary supplier, eventually Primera had to end support for their 1st gen products when the LexMark cartridges ran out. In the meantime however the SE used a new cartridge the 53332 and 53335 in All Black and TriColor versions. (These appear to be Identical to the Dymo Cartridge) right down to the shape and embedded print head. There is even a small plastic rectangle tab that sticks up that is identical and can clearly be seen in photos.Verified purchase: Yes
