a nightmare on elm street 5
freddy returns in his 5 film THE DREAM CHILD. this one is different he haunts the dreams of unborn children but still has the same guts and screams, i am a fan of freddy but this is a great movie and u don't have to have watched his other movies to get into this one.
must see for elm st fans
I bought the dvd because i was collecting the Elm Street Collection. As usual Freddie had you on the edge of your seat. Even though you knew he was about to jump out on someone it still frightened the life out of you. Once again Robert Englund played the part excellently. Plenty of blood and gore in this film.
A Nightmare On Elm Street 5 DVD review
I've seen them all (including the amusing Freddy vs Jason), and I must say this is the worst of them all. Hardly any real scares (for anyone above 12, that is), this is one series that had to be stopped. We all have seen the story before, Freddy isn't dead after all (well, not completely anyway, funny how the makers cheated their way through the series), and has his eye set out for yet another group of youngsters. Been there, done that. The most interesting part of the movie is probably it's supporting cast, with Yaphet Kotto (fine as always), and even Roseanne and Tom Arnold (very shortly), who were married at the time. Plus it's always fine to have Breckin Meyer and Johnny Depp on your title.
