I bought one 2 1/2 years ago,... took it out the box, put a Duracell in it, hung it on my kitchen wall, and it's been perfect. Not the cheapest, but is silent, has a pleasant clock face, is easy to clean, and is unobtrusive. I've been so impressed I bought another one for my daughter.

I have had trouble with this ite...m probably due to location and receiving the time signal. It would not start until the next day and once put in position stopped again after a while.I took it to different locations around the house but had little success until I put it in my porch. Since then it has worked perfectly in the location I originally put it. For the price I would not say it is good value.
