This is automatic turntable. It plays getter than Cros... not crushing-grinding records. Starts and stops smoothly. Surprised me with sound quality actually. This turntable don't cause trouble. It's not a bottle neck at all. I see it's useful for youngsters or older people with problems of shaking hands or even blind person can handle it very easy. It's safe to use by pushing keys. It just has only one type of cartridge - stylus. But I gues Audiophiles will search somewhere else.

This is a fairly "basic" turntable but does it's job OK. I like ...the switchable internal pre-amp (so as to suit both low & high sensitivity amplifiers, but the lightweight plastic turntable itself is a limiting factor. The auto mechanism is also fairly brutal! For about £15 second hand, it's fair value for money, but I wouldn't pay the £60 or more some folk ask for!

Upgraded from a Bush MTT1. I was going to get a Audio T...echna LP60 but this Aiwa is exactly the same which i got for £40 on ebay. Make sure your stylus is white with a black needle as other colours don't sound right due to requiring different tone weight.

Great sound, Can plug into phono or aux, theres... a switch under the platter for switching pre-amp on and off. Fully automatic, so your eytes dont need to be as good as the where 30 years ago :o)

It's a turntable. Budget priced but it p...lays my records. I fitted an ortofon cartridge and play it through an Aiwa amp. And it's a good enough sound for my tastes. You want high end hifi don't buy it. You want something functional then it's a no brainer.
