These are the second batch of submersible pond lights that I have purchased for the large 4 tier fountain that I have installed on my driveway. It takes 4 sets of 3 lights to completely light up the fountain. The result is absolutely stunning, especially as I live in a rural area with no street lighting. The first 4 sets of these lights were only installed a few months ago and soon became waterlogged in a matter of days. The first light totally failed after three days and the others at regular intervals after. No matter how hard you tighten up the lamp cover it just does not seal properly. The second batch was bought at the wife’s insistence. So this time I put a thin line of a clear leak sealer bought from a place where I purchase my screws from and costing a mere £2. Screwed the lens covers down tightly and left them to set for the required curing time which was only an hour. The results are brilliant and after a couple of weeks there has been no ingress of water at all. If this had been recommended in the instructions, it would have saved me forking out a second £115. Each box of lights comes with a string of 3 12v lights strung apart at 1.25 meters and a 10 meter lead to the transformer. The weighted bases are really good quality and a lot of thought has been put into the design. There is three rubber suction cups supplied for each base and no spares so you need to be careful most to drop and lose any. The must dumbfounding part of the kit is the sets of coloured lenses supplied. There is clear glass, red, green, blue and orange. But the weirdest part is the the clear glass comes in 3 pieces but the other colours are only supplied in 2’s. Probably the idea is to get you to spend more money in buying the third one if you want your lights all the same colour. All in all these lights if water sealed properly before installation, will do an amazing job.Read full review

I required controllable a lighting solution for my raised pond that didn't rely on solar power. I connected these via a timer switch and they worked perfectly. Very bright and effective with the clear lenses fitted but somewhat less so when any of the coloured lenses were fitted. Decided to go with two green lenses and one clear lense in the end. All in all, very good value for money and robustly made. Very bright ( see above). You will require and automatic switching system unless you want to keep switching them on and off yourself. I used a timer switch which works great with the lights.

Was a bit dubious seeing some of the reviews although am very happy with the lights - Work a treat. Push fit to the base then dropped in water and added a stone for extra weight. Haven't used any of the coloured filters as wanted white light although briefly looking at them I wasn't sure how they'd fit anyway. Added some pics taken at night - Note, the 'distance one doesn't really do the effect justice as the camera isn't brilliant along with my photographic skills - There's a tree behind the fence and the reflection up in to it doesn't show. Would've been 5* but the associated 'Amazing' didn't quite fit whereas 'Better than expected' certainly does. Mick Wood, Derbys, UK

A belting set of lights. I have one of the lights submerged in water feature for a year now and had now problems with them.

Very good lights - quite bright and a nice choice of colour filters. The suction cup fitting is a waste of time and it is necessary to fix the lamp holder/brackets to a heavy object to stop them from floating to the surface. A good length of lead between transformer and first light but distance between lights could be a little big longer. All in all good value for money
