Hugh been the curator of the police museum in Belfast since 1997. Originally from Scotland, Hugh has worked extensively as a curator and archivist in museums throughout the UK. As Honorary Secretary of the Police Historical Society (N.I.) he edits the society's quarterly journal, Proceedings. He is married and divides his time between Belfast and Enniskillen. David R. Orr devotes much of his spare time to the field of military research and has supplied research material and photographs for several books. A member of many historical societies, he has delivered talks to local history groups, societies, museums and Regimental Associations. He is married with two sons and lives in Belfast.
