An excellent monitor to go with my Mac Pro and also my macbook. Extends the USB on to the back of the monitor and will charge the Mac Book too.

Amazing clarity, sleek and elegant ..... Worth the price!
I bought the Apple Led Cinema Display to hook up to my MacBook Pro when my PC based desktop packed in. I now have the best of both worlds, portable and desktop working, without the constant hassle of synching and I have regained some badly needed space in my home office. The display is exactly the same as the thunderbolt version except for the connectors, so it works with older! non-thunderbolt, MBPs. The design is sleek and the single wire bundle for power, sound and display connectors is very neat, making it easy to connect or disconnect the MBP for portable working. The size of the display allows me to work on 2-3 documents side by side with no need for constant switching. The picture is crystal clear and sound quality through the built in speakers is surprisingly good, even with the bass turned up. There is some glare from the screen but careful placement and the 'tilt' facility means this does not cause a problem. If you spend a lot of time editing, designing, reviewing technical or other drawings this is a great way to size up your MacBook. If you care about appearance the display is as sleek and elegant as anything I have seen. In comparison to other displays the price is on the high side, comparable to buying an iMac, but the build quality and picture clarity are far superior to any monitor I have had previously. Nonetheless I think it is good value for anyone who is going to spend a lot of time at the screen, whether working, gaming or watching movies.Read full review
