The item is in great order! But If you are buying ...this product just for listening to music then it's excellent. However, if you are buying a 4th generation iPod to use it like what it was made for then you'll quickly find out that Apple won't let you install the latest software which means all of the latest apps are not compatible and not downloadable.

It's an A...pple device, so the hardware is great, is it outdated? Yes, slightly, but that shouldn't matter if you want to listen to music, watch a few videos and generally enjoy some media, including the apps that still support iOS6. It is still a great machine and the two cameras are of fine quality for what they are meant for. Not a patch on the up to date cameras found in newer hardware but please, let's remember this is for playing music on, the cameras are a great bonus! This is a phone without the phone, everything works as expected and for the price one would want to pay for it, not the one enforced upon us by Apple. The screen on the device was second to none when it came out, now it still holds it own and looks great even up close. Overall, it does the job, and it does it well! (shame about iTunes, but we can overlook that for the great experience of this device)

This iPod has plenty of memory for the things I... need it for and is so easy to use. The only downside is that if you are listening to music say and you leave the iPod inactive, it will go to sleep but the annoying thing is that you have to keep unlocking it just to move pased a song. This may be a flaw in all iPods, I wouldn't know as this is my first.
The iPod touch 4th generation is an excellent device. It was the firs...t apple product I had my eye on when I was little but never got to buy one because they were expensive and I was only 10. It’s sill rocks iOS 6 the last version of iOS before the modern look. And this iPod was the first to have a Retina display which still looks amazing. Thanks ashinsurry(330) you have been amazing. it’s just what I wanted. My iPod that I had before this one had just had it so thought I would get the iPod that I’ve always wanted.
