Having had a loan of a pair of Bose headphones, which were excellent at noise cancelling. I thought that I would go one better and do a bit of research, in order to find a superior set. The Audio Technica ones seemed in theory to be better, what with their triple noise cancelling feature. Not a bit of it! Where should I start? !!@@!! The build quality is awful! Bose is excellent. The sound quality is inferior to Bose, by a mile! The noise cancelling is not as good, you can still hear background noise, and that's in any of the 3 modes! Conclusion... Don't make the same mistake! Save up your pennies, buy Bose.
Very comfortable and sounds is great. Best feature are the 3 noise cancelling settings. It could use a little more padding at the top where it sits on the top of my head but only bothers me a bit when I use it for long periods of time.
It works fine - just like the best reviews. Glad I bought it.

I have used Bose QC15 and QC3 before buying this magnificent headphone. QC15 is good but noise cancellation quality of QC3 is laughable. I would say this Audio Technica really cancels noise upto 70% and I have used it in tube and trains. I would highly recommend it if you are a frequent traveler!
Read the reviews, certainly lives up to all the hype. Really pleased.
