One thing you get to enjoy when disabled is the wildlife around you, I spend many hours just sitting and watching their lives and much of what I see is not found in any book which makes me think that many of these 'Bird Books' are written with someone else's book on birds as the reference point. Even though this book was published some years ago it merits a place on my bookshelf through the shear fact it actually has very well detailed pictures of the birds it actually refers to which makes spotting them an easier matter than trying to do that using s Bill Oddie book for reference, I don't believe he has ever watched birds at all and if he has then he does it with one eye and misses all the actual antics they go through. Anyway that slight crititism of Oddie aside, this book is well written, well presented and very detailed, contains nothing to confuse which is a blessing. A very good book indeed.Read full review
