Is it worth it in 2018? Damn right it is. Ok it's slow and featureless - compared to today's offerings, but it has a superb TACK SHARP lens. I have lots of cameras, but I'm still amazed at the images this can produce. Be warned though it is only a day time shooter. High ISO was not a thing back when these were made. 8 megapixels might not seem much, but A4 prints are stunning. Give it some love and it will love you right back. A must for camera collectors!!

I had previously purchased the POWERSHOT Pro 1 and been very satisfied it. Unfortunately it had a malfunction and was going to cost too much to repair and so I decided to purchase another one. I searched and found this item and it was the right price so I purchased it for the asking price. It is a very comfortable camera to use and takes great pictures. I would certainly purchase it again but hope not to have to do this.
I already had an example of this model and as I found it to be so user friendly, compact, light, and versatile I considered it would be ideal for my granddaughter who is about to start a photography course for her GCSE.
Getting used to working the camera.
