An easy but exciting read
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness is a... fun, lightweight book full of excitement. The writing style takes a bit of getting used to in the beginning, however the author cleverly uses different fonts for Todd's speaking voice and his thought, or his 'Noise'. I never got bored of anything in this book, the storyline moved at a good pace, introducing new characters and new ideas at a pace that was easy to keep up with. It was by no means a difficult read but it was easy to get lost in. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with Todd as soon as the next book arrives on my doorstep!

All hail Patrick Ness...
This was recommended to me by my brother. I am an e...x Head of English and have in the course of my work, read hundreds of kids books. This is an amazing read: original, engaging and compulsive. I finished it in three days - the house went to hell, the kids barely fed, then at the end went straight on-line to buy the next two books. It's a rip-roaring read I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is why I Iove reading.
