RECOMMENDED. I love this album back in 2005 but had lost the mp3s on my player. its a rare album where i actually like the majority of all the songs bar one.usually with an album its just one or two songs that had been released.
Charlotte Church - Taking a chance
I had never thought of buying any Charlotte Church albums. However I checked reviews of this her first 'pop' album and it looked promising. So when I found a copy for sale I took a chance and was lucky enough to buy it. It is excellent and very addictive. I find myself playing it again and again. I will be looking for more of her albums now!
CHURCHY FOR THE MASSES
HAS A REALLY GREAT VOICE, BUT COULD USE FAR BETTER SONGS. IT JUST DOES NOTHING FOR YOU. SOME FANS WON'T HAVE A WORD SAID AGAINST HER, BUT WHERE IS THE FOLLOW UP ALBUM, I REST MY CASE. A GREAT GIRL/WOMAN. LET THE NEXT OUTING BE THE ALBUM YOU SHOULD & COULD OF MADE, AND SOON. WELL DO YOU REMEMBER BOTH THE 2 FIRST SINGLES, SAY'S IT ALL. TAKE A PUNT ON THIS ALBUM IF YOU WANT.
Decided to buy this after reading her autobiography and watching her recent tv chat show. I wasn't disappointed, most of the songs are co-written by Charlotte and many touch on her real life experiences. Some upbeat, some slower, overall a good mix and I'm glad I bought it!
Charlotte Church - Tissues and Issues
I had only heard *Crazy Chick* before I bought this, and liked it, but I found the album disappointing. Cheryl Cole was right, Charlotte Church was trying to steal Girls Alouds' sound! They do it well, but Church can't carry it off.
