This is the third of these I've bought over several years. They've needed replacing because eventually the seals in the lids do go. It would be better for the environment if they'd sell replacement lids, nothing wrong with the body! And mine get a lot of punishment as I take them out several times a week in a rucksack. Until the moment it gives up, lid is excellent. You can knock it, turn it upside down, it doesn't spill. The locking mechanism is very effective (my first one didn't have that and I did have a leak when the release button got squeezed in my bag, that doesn't happen now). I prefer this to a thermos flask because you don't have to stop, or faff about taking off a lid and pouring it out. You can just hold it in one hand and drink one-handed while on the go. Much less risk of spilling it while pouring too. They keep tea hot for several hours - made at 9 am it is still hot enough at around 1230. Lukewarm by about 2! I can keep it a bit warmer by putting it in the rucksack, if it's in the pocket on the outside on a freezing day it will struggle. The lids are now easier to clean but this one has a very complex mechanism which makes me think that's just more to go wrong. There are still bits you can't get to. Lid is supposedly dishwasher safe though I decide not to do that. Every so often I soak the lid in a dishwasher tablet solution and various indescribable bits float off it. Read full review
