A straight forward exercise... going anti clockwise and clockwise to impact on all forarm muscles and strengthen grip. Easy to use and there's no need to use masses of weight. Just slow and controlled movements will suffice. I use mine over a staircase to get the benefit of the full length of rope with 3x 2kg weights. The padded handles give a good grip. I do a approx 4 sets in each direction after I've completed a back / arm (bicep) workout so the forearms are mostly exhausted.
