Transcendental Euphoria (Mixed By Dave Pearce)
For those who haven't heard of the Euphoria series of albums, you have seriously missed out. But don't worry as it's not too late. They just keep coming out with more and more. Apart from your classic house, Euphoria have gone all out and compiled Chilled, Progressive, Hard House and White Label to name just a few. But this one really sticks out with me. It really is fantastically mixed by Dave Pearce and he has gone out on the line up of tracks. It includes new mixes of old tracks and even has tracks which were yet to be released. For example, 'Silence' by Delerium has been freshened up a treat with the Paul Van Dyk Dub Mix, bringing it bang up to date and by no means out of place on the album. Half way through disc one, Dave turns to a bit of hard house with Phatt B 'And Da Drum Machine' and the instant classic 'Phatt Bass' by Warp Brothers. But at no point does the mix escape from it's deserved name 'Transcendental'. Each track really does lift you and put you in a great frame of mind. How can it not with tracks by the likes of Sasha & Emerson, Sister Bliss, Zombie Nation, Elementfour, Way Out West etc. The list goes on, and on. Disc two would have to be my favourite if not just for the opening track. 'The Adventures Of...' by Terra Firma goes to show that Dave really knows how and when to place each record in the list. Also on this disc you can find the awesome 'Dooms Night Remix' by Azzido Da Bass, an amazing Matt Darey remix of 'Rise' by Gabrielle and also another favourite of mine. Black Spider and 'Save Your Life' is a great track which uses the guitar sample from the Apollo 440 hit 'Ain't Talkin' Bout Dub' which is a serious piece of tunage!! If you are big on your dance music and have not had the pleasure of this album, go get it now. Made by Telstar and BMG. Read full review

this is a classic cd have looked every where for another copy n now have 1 at an amazing priceHaving converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes. Read full review

Transcendental Euphoria - 'listen back and feel good'
If you want to remember and remind yourself of the good times you had in 2000 then buy this compilation. I did not buy this one when it was issued and it was a real nice surprise!
