Disappointing Product
Case and dvd itself were fine. The picture quality was... fine as well. The product was let down by poor sound quality which was very disappointing. Admittedly this did not mean hissing or anything of that nature but it was the actual low volume which let it down. I persevered adding a speaker which helped as I really wanted to view the film.

film adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma - review
I love this film version of E...mma with Gwyneth Paltrow. Although a big fan of Jane Austen novels, this particular book is my least favourite. The film, however, has exactly the right mix of characters. Paltrow's ability to smile and scheme simultaneously, paired with Toni Colette's innocent charm, even has my husband glued to the screen. The plot is not too exciting - Emma (Paltrow) is the well-to-do girl with no obligations, who tries match-making to amuse herself, until it backfires on her. But the costumes and scenic settings for this period drama are perfectly chosen, and all the actors give brilliant performances to make this film a real joy to watch.
