2nd failure in 7 years. Geberit now recommend fitting a clamp on the cistern outlet pipe to the wall to prevent any movement. Geberit customer services don't tell you this, just saying the seal is a 'serviceable part'! Poor design for a concealed system when most people would not even know it was leaking.

The part is wider and thicker than the one it replaced and that means it needs more effort to install it. Lubricated with solid soap it isn't too difficult to fit and the result is a perfect leak-free seal.

Very good Genuine part and very tight fit. Recommend putting a little silicon grease on it to help it in and make sure the chambered edge is put towards the cistern (as mentioned in another review) or it will leak. The clip can be difficult to get in but is okay if eased in a bit at a time, make sure it clicks into it's intended position.
