I make badges for a living and always used the high quality setting on my ink jet printer and never had bad feedback. But since I started using my laser jet printer, I'm embarrassed at how poor my old badges look. I wish I'd bought a laser jet years ago. The images are bright and sharp. Really can't fault this model. Really easy to set up too.

This is a duplicate for a CP1025NW that I already use at home for use at the Scout Group where I am the Treasurer. This means that I have no learning curve to go through and I only need to carry one set of replacement cartridges/drum. Compatible cartridges are still freely available and the prices are reasonable. The quality of printing (if you replace items when advised to do so) remains consistently clear.

The HP Laserjet cp1025nw is a good all round performer and makes a good choice every day printer.

A great little printer. Straight from the box, using the enclosed CD, it was up and working on my wireless network within minutes. It copes with all the different media I throw at it - different weights of glossy paper, envelopes, card giving good quality mono text and full colour photos. Printing on both sides without a problem. And almost silent in operation. I bought it to supplement a small Samsung colour laser printer which has been over-used and now requires a major overhaul, which I haven't had time for, and needed to get a quantity of brochures printed for my charity asap. The only down side is the supplied toner cartridges only provide for 400 copies. Toner costs may mount up if you do as much printing as I do.
I previously used a massive Lexmark C532n which was amazingly fast and produced fantastic quality prints, but was horrendously expensive to run (19x£50 toner cartridges in 2 years). Deciding to cut our losses and move to the HP was a very good decision. Even the cartridges that came with the printer two months ago are still working, so, given the relative costs of the initial capital expenditure against ongoing running costs, the HP already feelos like a bargain!.
