The server looked sad. It was winking an orange light to say that one of the disks in the RAID array had failed, and that made the charity sad as they didn't have the money for a new disc. Fortunately eBay came along and had what they needed at a slightly more reasonable price, and so this disc turned up in the server room. It took 30 seconds to whip out the failed disc and put the new one in (although the office manager watching me said it felt like an eternity - she'd never seen anyone hot-swap a disc before!) and the server happily started rebuilding the array and winking an altogeter more encouraging green light at all those who cared to watch. Two days later it hasn't failed and none of the charity's users have noticed any difference whatsoever. I can't think of any stronger recommendation.Read full review

This type of HP Raid drive is highly recommended as is the seller of the product. This is the 2nd drive (for different usage) that I have purchased and both have lived up to expectation.
Good quality drive. The 10k rpm gives you a quite good speed. Long lifetime compared to consumer drives.
