Proving there's more to Merseyside than The Beatles
This album is a timely reinder to all serious students of music that not all good rock/alternative music comes from the West Coast of America. This is possibly Ian Mc.Nabb at his best and not a lot gets better. Great musicianship, lyrics that manage to extend beyond the banal and cliched together with the unmistakeable dry, ascerbic wit of Liverpool's(as well as Britain's forgotten musical genius. Part Neil Young, part classic British Pop, the summation is simply musical perfection. Sadly, music like this is very seldom made anymore. So, for all you afficianados, prove you good taste and check this one out. Try it, you'll definitely like it.
