I played 3 instruments for... 30 years and mastered 2, and I am VERY fussy. To put it briefly, this guitar is incredible value for money, for these reasons: 1. The trem is superb, this feels like a Gotoh. You won't find a better trem even on more expensive guitars, usually in this price range you get a Floyd Rose Special, which cannot be compared. 2. The pickups are of high quality. This is the FIRST time I ever leave the stock pickups on any guitar, I never use anything else other than Di Marzio or Seymour Duncan. I made careful tests with a SD and the stock pickups, called Quantum, give the SD a scary run for its money, in fact the output and "meat" is incredibly similar. 3. The trem. The TREM. Compared to a Floyd Rose 1000 , the latter feels crude in comparison to the Ibanez. The Ibanez blows out of the water any Special, but even the real Floyds, for several reasons: A. the engineering is much more innovative than the Floyd Rose. The Zero Point device is impressive. The blades are replaceable: when they get worn, you don't need to replace the whole trem. Look, just BUY it. This is a pro guitar at a budget price. I even have an old Japanese Rg to compare it to. This RG is the best rock and metal money can buy, on the majority of guitars in this price range there's always something missing: the pickups are weak, or the trem is rubbish, or something else is weak. Not on this superb guitar.
