Track ball mice are a bit like Marmite - you either love them or hate them. I hated the standard track ball but this one, with the addition of a scroll ring, is much. much better. I am not completely confident that the scroll ring will take the use it needs to take. I had the much more expensive "expert" track ball and the scroll function stopped working within the first year of use. I bought this cheaper one as a replacement and I am hoping that it will last longer. So far so good.

Had this for about a day now, only took few mins to get used to it. works great, i like the way it works. super smooth. But still, id say its overpriced. £20-25 i think is ideal price and would feel better about buying it. even £30 is a push, but better than what it was. use-wise its brilliant, only issue is price. i would have loved to have gotten the expert version of this mouse, but its stupid money. if u want a trackball mouse like this, id deffo recommend it cause it also has the scroll wheel. UPDATE: been using this a while now. i do find myself missing a normal mouse from time to time. this one can be fiddly to do more accurate things like selecting specific text or any design work. and it does hurt the wrist after a while. Lowered my rating one star, because i do regret the purchase and wish i spent the money on a better quality standard-type mouse.Read full review

I found it hard to get used to the ball and am still trying but the rotary circle below the ball is really great.
