I got this to replace an... elderly Cuisinart for which spare parts were not available anymore. Why didn't I do this ten years ago? This machine is fantastic. The safety interlock was designed by a sane person who wasn't trying to sell replacement parts. Everything works exactly as advertised. The dough blade and whisk attachments work flawlessly (which the ones from my much more expensive Cuisinart never did). The built-in scale allows you to re-tare at any point so you can add 100g of one thing, reset to zero, add 250g of the next thing, etc. All the parts that hold things have capacity markers on them in both metric and imperial -- even the small pusher doubles as a measuring cup! The only parts I don't machine-wash are the head of the whisk assembly (though the beaters come off easily and can be machine-washed) and the base of the blender (mostly because it looks like it would trap water inside). You can order several additional attachments separately -- I got the spice mill and the citrus juicer, and with those this machine replaced four existing kitchen appliances and added a fifth that I didn't have (the blender). I'm going to order the folding tool as well after the whisk made such perfect meringue that it took 15 minutes to fold it into the eggnog by hand. Minor (very minor) issues: * The blender base was very tricky to get on until I figured out that you need to set the blender jug on the counter upside down and attach it from the top. No problem after that. * If you use the spice mill (not part of the base set) to grind cinnamon (which is VERY hard), it will score the inside of the clear plastic cover. Cosmetic issue only. Also, when grinding things to powder, some manages to escape onto the base, so you'll want to blow on it to clear the interlock mechanism and prevent it from building up. * There is no on/off button on the unit, and when it has power there's a very bright white LED, so you'll want to shut it off at the outlet. * The manual leaves out details about how to use certain features. To turn the scale off once you've had it on, hold down the button. You can't use the citrus juicer with the smaller nested work bowl. TL;DR: Brilliantly engineered by someone who understands what cooks need, and a bargain at the price. Just buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Seems to be very strong and the blender go...blet works with hot soup as well as cold produce. Double mixing bowl a plus as can do smaller jobs in the small one without it spilling into the bigger one below. All in all a very good machine the only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because I find it quite difficult to get the blender base screwed back on exactly as it needs to be to activate the machine. Everything else is great.

Very pleased that it's such good quality. I took a risk going ...for a reconditioned food processor and so far so good! From what I can see there's only a few small scratches on it, looks perfect otherwise. It was packaged really well and everything was there. I've used pretty much all the bits. A good buy.
