A great read, but it is a long book with a complicated storyline so only for avid readers.

I bought Labyrinth at a little bookshop on the day it was originally published, at a time when I had already been planning a visit to the city of Carcassonne and other castles of the area (especially Montsegur). I couldn't put the novel down and developed a vivid picture of the scenes in this story of the 'parallel lives' of the two heroines of this story. And it turned out to be uncanny: I was so 'affected' by the work that I was able to find my way around the beautiful city and the castles and wild places (including the mysterious grotto) with ease. I love Kate Mosse's writing and (on finding that the "friend" who had borrowed it had damaged it, decided I wanted a replacement copy. I will return (time and time again I hope) to this beautiful part of France, and will re-visit Kate Mosse's Labyrinth. There is no better 'guide book' AND it is a great story.Read full review
Greatest book ever. The history is unbeliveble and the author has great imagination.... The way she puts the story together is amazing. And her other book Sepulchre is great too and they both have connection to each other
