All the songs u love from 1 of the biggest underestimated bands of all time
This is Level 42 at their best, then again, I have yet to find a Level 42 album I didn't like. Wonderful tracks, all the hits you know and love from Level 42. One of the only bands to write such amazing music and remain a true band - musicians through and through. My favourite band of all time, and if you are only mildly familiar with Level 42, I implore you to buy this fantastic album. Then once you are hooked, you are in for the most amazing treat when you discover their back catalogue :D 1980 to the present day, they are AMAZING. Happy listening!
So good I bought it twice
This is Level 42's definitive album. I bought this album in '87 on vinyl and then again on CD when it became available. Since I couldn't find my CD recently (somebody must have "borrowed" it) I had to buy it again. There is not a single bad track on the album. It is slick and perfectly produced. It has that eighties feel combined with powerful performances from the best rhythm section that has ever existed and sublime songwriting. Lessons in Love is a cracking tune and Running in the Family really tells a story. The other three singles, "It's Over", "To Be With You Again" and "Children Say" are all really strong and the rest of the album stands up to these tracks. No music collection is complete without this album.
