These are far best speakers and absolutely loved the sound when I used them! It's designed really well and will easily fit in compact space, you can adjust bass easily! I have used Logitech speakers for years and this is an addition to my old collection! I would say well worth it!
well my daughter just cant get enough of the speakers, they are clear and not overpowering you can turn it down and still get a good listening, frankly,i am please with my purchase
Bought these because I needed a basic 2.1 sound system - finished in white (also available in black) - for sensible money. I like that it was easy to set up, had convenient features such as the fixed cable for mp3 devices, a dedicated headphone output and the [left] speaker mounted 'on/off/volume' and separate 'subwoofer level' controls. Interestingly. the main speakers also have an additional rear-facing speaker to throw sound backward (as well as normally forward) and that the subwoofer has an 'active' downward-facing driver coupled with a 'passive' front-facing pressure driver (although I'm guessing that one is more for 'aesthetics' as it looks arguably much better than a conventional speaker cabinet port hole). Essentially, it all looks well thought out and well put together. Regarding audio quality, the immediate impression is that these were developed more for general personal computer use and specifically 'gaming' rather than music or media as the main speakers are very 'low-mid' frequency orientated and can sound quite dull depending on listening material... similarly, the subwoofer can sound a bit uncontrolled and can easily overbear (rather than compliment) the main stereo pair without much provocation. On the plus side, they are capable of fairly high sound pressure levels given their modest wattage figures, are available in two finishes, are reasonably well made and were decent value. Would I recommend them? Certainly not for high definition music or media. They simply don't have the fidelity to deliver that even remotely well... but for your generic gaming weapons fire explosion, racing engine with tyre screech, narrative 'blah-blah-blah' and accompanying lo-fi soundtracks... they're just fine.Read full review
First computer speakers, wanted some depth to my aluminium imac's sound and something that looked good next to it aesthetically. On all accounts it stands up very well for its inexpensive price. perfect for listening to music on yor computer, nice bass and clear, no hissing noises i have noticed so far in the week i have used them, Must say if you have a big room and want to crank it up and dance around your handbag, would invest in something a little more substancial !!!
