I recently purchased one of these Maypole MP730 chargers, and I was first impressed by its weight! Being an electrical engineer, this was a good omen, as light-weight gear usually, in my experience, means only light-weight performance. I opened it up, and was most impressed by the generally rugged construction, and the generously rated components. Prolonged testing on full load seemed to cause no undue stress to the charger. I anticipate long and reliable service from this unit. Definately reccommended.

The charger, in being 12 or 24 volt output and 4 charging rates allows me to choose, how quickly I want to charge either one or two 12v car batteries ( either in series or in Parallel ) and also charge 24v the batteries on my Kubota digger. A big bonus is that the charger is built into a very compact and strong steel case, with a comfortable and reassuringly strong handle. All at a reasonable price. Thank you - Rod
